Jonah Coleman - Held below 100 rushing yards Week 3Coleman accrued 14 carries for 75 yards and gathered in three of four targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 24-19 defeat against Washington State.
ImpactColeman fell below 100 rushing yards for the first time since transferring to Washington. The 5-foot-9, 229-pounder eclipsed the century mark twice despite logging 16 and 11 carries in Weeks 1 and 2. While Coleman's overall workload didn't change much Saturday, didn't face a rushing defense that was as easy as what Weber State and Eastern Michigan put out there. He also wasn't set up for success on what was the deciding play of the game, as Coleman was met behind the line of scrimmage for a two-yard loss on an option pitch to the short-side of the field. Still he's been very productive with his relatively moderate workload, averaging 7.5 yards across 41 carries through three games. He'll look to remain efficient during next Saturday's conference opener at home versus Northwestern.

Denzel Boston - 11 more targets in Week 3 lossBoston gathered in eight of 11 targets for 58 yards during Saturday's 24-19 loss versus Washington State.
ImpactBoston failed to catch a touchdown for the first time this season, as the Huskies were held out of the end zone on four trips within the opposing 25-yard line. The 6-foot-4 sophomore also led the team in targets, though 5-foot-9 wideout Giles Jackson played the starring role with eight catches (on eight targets) for 162 yards and touchdown on Saturday. Boston logged three touchdowns in the red zone through the first two games of the season, so it's likely that he'll remain the top target in this crucial part of the field moving forward this season. Washington will look to convert more of these opportunities during next Saturday's conference opener at home against Northwestern.

Giles Jackson - Stars in losing effortJackson hauled in all eight targets for 162 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-19 loss versus Washington State.
ImpactJackson had one of the best performances of any wide receiver in the Big Ten in Week 3, logging the first 100-yard receiving performance of his career. The 5-foot-9 receiver also logged his first touchdown of the season with a 31-yard catch early in the first quarter, which wound up being the Huskies' lone touchdown of the game. Astoundly, he's also now caught all 24 of his targets through the first three games of the season. However, he still logged fewer targets than Denzel Boston (10) on Saturday. Jackson and Boston have been far-and-away the top pass-catchers for Rogers this season, as both have totaled exactly 24 targets. While the 6-foot-4 Boston is a bigger go-to option in the red zone for Rogers, this significant target share for both wideouts should net plenty of scoring options to go around. The Huskies' offense will look to bounce back during next Saturday's conference opener versus Northwestern.

Will Rogers - Remains productive in rivalry lossRogers was 23-for-31 passing for 314 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-19 loss to Washington State. He also had six rushes for -11 yards.
ImpactRogers tossed his sixth passing touchdown of the season with a 31-yard completion to wideout Giles Jackson in the first quarter. However, the Huskies offense then had to settle for firled gols on three trips inside the opposing 25-yard line, which ultimately cost them in this nip-and-tuck loss. This included when Rogers just missed senior tight end Keleki Latu for another touchdown pass late in the second quarter. The fifth-year quarterback has been a great point guard this season, espcially when targeting his top-two targets in Jackson and Denzel Boston, as these two caught 16 of 19 combined targets for 220 yards on Saturday. Washington head coach continued to work in true freshman quarterback Demond Williams as a change-of-pace quarterback on Saturday, logging three completions on four passing attempts. This modest snap share shouldn't pose any significant threat to Rogers' starting job moving forward though. The Huskies will look to bounce back next Saturday when they open conference play at home versus Northwestern.
