ImpactEnis has had a minimal impact during his tenure in Utah, but he's expected to have an expanded role as one of the team's veteran receivers. The shortened 2020 season earned him an extra year of eligibility, so the 6-3 wideout enters his junior year as a starter.

ImpactCharlie Brewer gave the junior tight end several looks in Week 1, which is sensible because the 6-4 pass-catcher is an easy guy to spot in the flat. After a sensational two seasons at San Diego, Kincaid entered the transfer portal a year ago and saw minimal play during the shortened season, but it seems obvious that he will be an integral part of the offense in his junior year. His involvement could present a problem for Brant Kuithe, arguably one of the best tight ends in the Pac-12 and the presumed starter entering the season.

ImpactAlthough T.J. Pledger was expected to get the first shot as the number one back, it was Thomas who led the team in yards and carries. The Utes benefit from a deep depth chart at the position, and it's too soon to say if Thomas' heavy involvement is a portent of things to come. His outing is encouraging, but his fantasy value isn't an ironclad guarantee at this point.

ImpactBrewer's first game as a Ute went off without a hitch, as the Baylor transfer looked comfortably in charge of the offense. Brewer benefits from several elite weapons around him, and as the newly-minted starter, he should see some improvement as he takes reps with the first team.
