Impact Grimes finally scored his first touchdown of this season against the Blue Devils. He also saw four targets for the second straight game, so there's a chance Grimes is becoming a bigger factor in this NC State passing attack. Still, from a fantasy perspective, it's too little, too late.

Tallies four catches Grimes reeled in all four targets for 29 yards during Saturday's 30-20 victory against Louisiana Tech.

Impact Grimes' four grabs were his most since Week 7 of last year. After a zero-catch performance in Week 2, this was a nice bounce-back from the wideout. As about the fourth receiver on the Wolfpack's offense, Grimes won't be a top option for NC State week in and week out. He'll have some quiet games and some bigger ones, but he'll look to stack good performances next week against Clemson.

Trending up after week of fall camp Grimes is trending up after North Carolina State's first week of fall camp, Ethan McDowell of The Wolfpacker reports.

Impact Grimes kicked off what was described as "a dominant second half of the summer" by clocking a 4.36 dash time and a 4.05 pro agility. The success has continued going into fall. While not projected to be a starter immediately, Grimes will contend for first-team opportunities, and it shouldn't surprise anyone if he does. The junior wideout broke out during his 2023 season, during which he logged 20 receptions for 339 yards and four touchdowns.
