Frank Peasant - Sidelined SaturdayPeasant (undisclosed) didn't play Saturday against Western Kentucky.
ImpactPeasant had only one touch in Middle Tennesse's Week 2 loss to Mississippi, so it's unclear if he's dealing with an injury that also sidelined the senior running back Saturday. It'll be worth monitoring Peasant's status leading up to next week's contest with Duke.

Veltkamp throws 5 TDs in WKU's 49-21 win over Middle Tennessee in game with 937 yards passing

Caden Veltkamp threw for 398 of WKU’s 481 yards passing with a career-tying five touchdowns and Western Kentucky defeated Middle Tennessee 49-21 in a Conference USA opener for both...

Holden Willis - Tallies 73 yardsWillis caught four passes for 73 yards Saturday versus WKU.
ImpactWillis, who is a tight end on the depth chart but plays more like a slot receiver, transferred to MTSU from South Florida last year and had 46 catches for 697 yards and five scores. He has 13 catches for 199 yards through three games. That's good for a tight end, but a touchdown or two would be nice.

Omari Kelly - Huge game against HilltoppersKelly caught nine passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns versus WKU on Saturday.
ImpactNow this is what MTSU hoped for when Kelly transferred in from Auburn. Of course, it wasn't for a lack of trying. While Kelly came into this game with five catches for 46 yards, that was on 12 carries. Now he's had the chance to turn his targets into big numbers against a conference opponent.

Jaiden Credle - Struggles on the ground againCredle ran nine times for 19 yards and had two catches for 13 yards against MTSU on Saturday.
ImpactOnce again, Credle served as the lead back for the Blue Raiders. However, he has all of 34 yards on 17 carries over the last two games. It would appear MTSU's run game is in major trouble.

Nicholas Vattiato - Throws three TDs, INTVattiato went 24-for-31 for 456 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception against WKU on Saturday. He also ran nine times for 21 yards.
ImpactThis is a nice bounce back for Vattiato, who reasonably struggled against Ole Miss last week. He was efficient and threw for a ton of yards, even with the pick. Vattiato does have an interception in every game, though, and he threw 13 of them last season.

River Helms - Finds end zoneHelms caught four passes for 39 yards and a touchdown against MTSU on Saturday.
ImpactWhile this is Helms' first touchdown on the year, he has nine catches for 92 yards, which is notable for a tight end. Though it does appear he will do better than last season when he had 22 catches for 289 yards, for fantasy-minded folks to really get invested, he'll need to pick it up a bit.
