Impact Howard started seven games for the Wildcats in 2020 after Thompson went down with a season-ending shoulder injury and finished the year completing 90-of-168 passes for 1,178 yards with eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also used his legs a significant amount, carrying the ball 78 times for 364 yards and three scores. It's unclear what exactly the team has in store for him but his versatility as a dual-threat quarterback could land him some additional opportunities in the offense as a runner.
