Receives majority of snaps in win Howard completed 15 of 17 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-0 win against Houston. He also had nine rushes for 24 yards.

Impact Although three different quarterbacks played against Houston, Howard was clearly the top option and is the best bet to be the primary starter moving forward. He threw multiple touchdown passes for the fifth time this season. His upside is limited though as it doesn't appear that they will move away from using Avery Johnson around the goal-line and they have a couple of stud running backs in Treshaun Ward and DJ Giddens. Kansas State has a big game at Texas next week.

Throws three TDs as co-starter Howard completed 10 of 16 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 41-3 victory versus TCU. He also had four rushes for 62 yards.

Impact Despite being named a co-starter, Howard threw for three touchdowns and was a big part of the win over TCU. Meanwhile Avery Johnson threw his first touchdown pass and rushed for 73 yards on 16 carries. It appears that Kansas State is comfortable utilizing both QBs moving forward. The Wildcats will play Houston next week.

Though there was always the chance Howard would be dropped, it appears he will not for at least one more game. October has been rough for Howard, who threw three interceptions in one game and was benched the other. Ideally for him, he bounces back against TCU.
