Beat out for starting job Haskell was active for San Diego State's spring football game Thursday, though he will start the 2022 season as a reserve option at quarterback, Times of San Diego reports.
Impact Haskell finished the 2021 season with an undisclosed injury but he was ready to go for Thursday's contest. Although he threw for 200 yards in the game, head coach Brady Coke named Virginia Tech transfer Braxton Burmeister as the starting quarterback for the upcoming season.
