Hauls in nine passes Wright (undisclosed) reeled in nine catches for 64 yards and a score during Friday's 34-20 loss against Navy.

Impact Wright was questionable heading into the Week 14 clash with Navy, but the wideout played and played well, easily pacing the Pirates in receptions as quarterback Katin Houser's favorite target. He should have one more chance to play this season in ECU's bowl game.

Impact This is the same course of action that happened last week before Wright did not play in Week 13. Even so, there is hope. And with Wright red hot in his recent games, five touchdowns in his last four, him being available for even the slightest amount of time would be welcoming for East Carolina.

Impact Saturday marked Wright's first DNP of his 2024 season. Currently, this year's Pirates are scheduled to finish their regular season with a Friday game against the Navy. Without him, they excelled at North Texas, so maybe Wright will not be a primary option against the Navy.

Productive in Thursday's win Wright hauled in all nine targets for 68 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 38-31 victory over Tulsa.

Impact Wright had one of his best performances of the season in Thursday's win. He caught a season-high nine passes and scored a touchdown in his sixth consecutive outing. With Chase Sowell (hamstring) leaving the game with an injury, Wright could continue to see high volume next Saturday at North Texas if Sowell is forced to miss the game.

Scores twice Thursday Wright caught all three targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 49-14 win versus Florida Atlantic.

Impact Wright scored a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter Thursday, catches of 47 yards and eight yards which gave him his first multi-touchdown game of the season. He has now scored a touchdown in six of his last seven games. Wright also notched a season-high 80 yards in the win, all of which came in the first half. He only had three targets in the game, tied for his fewest this season, but that can be attributed to the Pirates taking a 28-point lead into halftime.

Catches TD versus Temple Wright hauled in 4 of 5 targets for seven yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-34 win over Temple.

Impact Wright scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, a nine-yard reception in the second quarter. He made three other catches in the game and lost two yards on those receptions. Although he made four catches in his third straight game, his mere seven yards receiving was disappointing. Still, he has caught two touchdowns in Katin Houser's two starts so he will still have value down the stretch.

Scores again Saturday Wright logged four receptions (on 10 targets) for 57 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-28 loss against Army.

Impact Wright scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, all of which have come in his last five games. It was a 12-yard reception late in the fourth quarter that salvaged a productive performance for him. He saw a season-high 10 targets with Katin Houser under center, potentially a sign of things to come if the Pirates continue to start Houser.

Scores kick return TD Saturday Wright hauled in 4 of 5 targets for 17 yards, rushed three times for 28 yards and returned a kickoff for a touchdown during Saturday's 55-24 defeat to Charlotte.

Impact Wright scored a 94-yard kickoff return touchdown Saturday, his first return touchdown of the season and his third total. He also had a decent day on offense as he set season highs in rushing attempts and yards and caught four passes for the third time this season. The Pirates are clearly looking for ways to get Wright the ball, and he has shown an ability to break off big plays this season.

Catches TD Saturday Wright logged three receptions (on six targets) for 56 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 30-20 victory against Texas-San Antonio.

Impact Wright caught his second touchdown of the season Saturday, a 40-yard reception in the third quarter. He was also tied for a team-best six targets, his third game with six or more targets in the last four weeks. He has posted over 45 receiving yards in each of the last four games, a promising sign of consistency which is paired with his big-play upside.

Catches long TD Saturday Wright gathered in all three targets for 72 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-19 defeat versus Appalachian State.

Impact Wright caught a 65-yard touchdown on the third play of Saturday's game, his first FBS touchdown since 2021. He has had a strong start to the 2024 season, with 13 catches (on 13 targets) for 162 yards and one touchdown through three games. He has established a nice connection with Jake Garcia early on and will hope to build off of that as the season progresses.
