Tyler Van Dyke - Aiming to return in 2025 Van Dyke (knee) is aiming to return to the Badgers in 2025 after tearing his ACL in Wisconsin's third game of the season, Evan Flood of 247Sports.com reports. Impact Van Dyke tore the ACL in his right knee in the first quarter of Wisconsin's game against Alabama in September. He's been replaced by Braedyn Locke, who hasn't exactly proven that he's worthy of being the quarterback of the future in Madison. Wisconsin's quarterback room still looks rather bare for next fall, even with Van Dyke in the picture. Thus, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Badgers target a quarterback in the portal, as it seems unlikely Van Dyke would be healthy for spring practice. Either way, the quarterback has one more season of eligibility, should he choose to use it at Wisconsin or elsewhere.
