Braedyn Locke - Comes up short in lossLocke completed 21 of 41 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 20-14 defeat against Indiana. He also had six rushes for -13 yards.

ImpactLocke failed to establish any consistency with his pass catchers. This was particularly true when he targeted slot receiver and top wideout Will Pauling, who only hauled in five of 16 targets for 51 yards and a wide-open touchdown. The redshirt freshman quarterback did manage to hit two long passing plays to big-bodied wideout Bryson Green, including a catch on a slant route short over the middle of the field which he took for a 54-yard touchdown in the second quarter. These highlights didn't make up for Locke's lowlights, as he struggled to find any comfortability with pass rushers in his face for much of the game, leading to numerous passes knocked down by defensive linemen near the line of scrimmage. The 6-foot signal-caller may similarly struggle if he once again has to play without bell-cow running back Braelon Allen (lower leg) during the Week 11 matchup against Northwestern.

Brendan Sorsby - Pilots solid offensive outingSorsby completed 19 of 31 passes for 186 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 20-14 win over Wisconsin. He also had 14 rushes for eight yards with one touchdown.

ImpactSorsby proved effective despite coming into the game questionable to play due to an undisclosed injury, which he apparently sustained late during last week's loss to Penn State. The redshirt freshman didn't manage to hit his wideouts for three long touchdowns like he did in Happy Valley; but, he still played a very clean game, completing over 60 percent of his passes for the second week in a row. He also scored an eight-yard rushing touchdown on the opening drive, which proved to be the difference in this win. Sorsby's solid performance should keep him locked in as Indiana's starting quarterback ahead of Tayven Jackson heading into the Week 11 contest versus Illinois.

Tanner Mordecai - DNP at IndianaMordecai (hand) did not play during Wisconsin's game Saturday at Indiana.

ImpactMordecai has sat out thrice now because of his current injury. Braedyn Locke was Wisconsin's quarterback at Indiana, completing 21 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns. Mordecai will have to wait almost another week to possibly play again. Currently, the Badgers' next game is scheduled against Northwestern at Camp Randall on Nov. 11.
