Likely out to begin season Gentry suffered a patella injury during practice and will miss several months, Michael Katz of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports. Impact Head coach Craig Bohl said Thursday he doesn't expect Gentry to be ready for the start of the regular season in the fall. The senior has hauled in eight passes for 158 yards and one touchdown during his career and was looking to earn a greater role this season. Those plans have since been derailed, and he'll look to make his return sometime during the fall or winter. While he's out, Isaiah Neyor and Ayden Eberhardt will remain the top receivers, while Mason Gallegos, Alex Brown and Joshua Cobbs look to battle it out for the No. 3 role when the season begins.
