Plays versatile role in CFP Johnson totaled six carries for 28 rushing yards and caught three of four targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 42-41 loss versus Georgia. Impact Johnson was called upon to help support the Buckeyes' depleted running back corps. After totaling six carries over the first 12 games of the year, the graduate senior wideout finished with the team's third-most rushing yards behind freshman running back Dallan Hayden (nine carries, 43 rushing yards) and quarterback C.J. Stroud (12 carries, 32 rushing yards). Ohio State also utilized Johnson's ability as a receiver while lined up in the backfield, beating a linebacker on a vertical route up the seam for a picture-perfect 37-yard receiving touchdown with 49 seconds remaining in the second quarter. The fifth-year wideout should have one season of remaining collegiate eligibility should he decide to return to Ohio State in 2023.
