Impact Marshall's quarterback room is mostly depleted, so it allows a quarterback to take advantage of an FBS opportunity. At the NCAA's top level, Turner is a proven option. He logged more than 1,500 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns during UConn's 2022 season.

Impact Turner, the former UConn Husky, has made it interesting enough this offseason to the point that there's still a three-way battle for the Jacksonville state starting quarterback gig. This competition will now carry over into the regular season and into the Gamecocks' opener against Costal Carolina.
