Runner-up at Innisbrook Schenk closed with a final round one-under 70 at the Valspar Championship, finishing one shot behind champion Taylor Moore. Impact Schenk started the final round with a one stroke lead, and he got off to a good start with an opening birdie and held the solo lead until a bogey on the par-4 sixth hole. From there, he made three birdies and a bogey over his next six holes and was tied for the lead heading into the par-4 18th hole. However, his tee shot ended up against a tree, and he was unable to save par to finish one behind Moore. The runner-up result was Schenk's first top-10 over 17 starts this season.
