Runner-up in Mexico Potgieter closed with a final round even-par 71 at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld, losing in a playoff to Brian Campbell. Impact Potgieter entered Sunday's action with a one-shot advantage, but he had a sluggish start with three front-nine bogeys to lose the lead. He righted the ship, however, with three birdies in the final seven holes to get into a playoff with Campbell. Unfortunately, he was unable to birdie the par-5 18th on either of the two playoff holes and had to settle for the runner-up finish. Potgieter led the field for the week in SG: Putting and ranked third off the tee, as the long-hitting 20-year-old builds momentum heading into the Florida Swing.
