Teeing it up at Innisbrook Bjork, who was bumped to an alternate spot prior to last week's PLAYERS Championship, will be in the field for this week's Valspar Championship.

Impact Bjork rebounded from back-to-back missed cuts with a top-50 finish in his most recent start at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, where he gained 1.9 strokes with his irons. However, Bjork sits just 117th in the FedExCup standings with one top-25 through six events played this season.

Bumped to first alternate Bjork was bumped to the first alternate at The Players Championship after Brice Garnett won the Puerto Rico Open on Sunday, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.

Impact Bjork was listed in the original field published last Friday, but with Garnett being not previously exempt and then winning a PGA Tour event, he is guaranteed a spot at TPC Sawgrass. There's a chance one of the 144 players in the field will be forced to withdraw in which case Bjork will be the first one up to get that spot. Bjork is 3-for-6 with a best finish of T11 at the American Express in his first full season on the PGA Tour.

Scores T2 finish at Ras Al Khaimah Bjork shot a four-under 68 in the final round to finish in a tie for second place at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

Impact Bjork made six birdies in an 11-hole stretch on Sunday to get himself right in the mix of the tournament. The 32-year-old was hoping to win for the second time on the DP World Tour, but was running out of time after pars on holes 12-17. Bjork would make an ugly bogey at the par-5 finishing hole that he will be kicking himself looking back on considering that Daniel Gavins would make a double-bogey and come back to 17-under. Bjork's 16-under-par total was just not quite enough despite shooting in the 60's in all four rounds. He will tee it up next week at the Singapore Classic.
