Impact Steele hit 12 of 14 fairways in regulation during Sunday's final round on the way to four birdies, but a second-round 72 kept him from a higher finish. Nonetheless, it was a promising sign for Steele to make the cut in his return from the back injury that forced him to withdraw during November's Cadence Bank Houston Open. He'll play again this week in The American Express where he's made the cut in nine of 12 appearances, including a T2 here in 2015.
