Misses cut at Waialae Conners carded a two-day total of one-under at the Sony Open in Hawaii to miss the cut by two strokes.

Impact Conners got off to a slow start with only two birdies in the opening round, and he made too many mistakes Friday with four bogeys to ultimately miss the cut by two. He struggled mightily with his putting, losing over five strokes on the greens across the two rounds. It's Conners' first missed cut since the U.S. Open back in June 2023.

Leads field in SG: Putting Conners finished in a share of fifth place at The Sentry after shooting a six-under 67 in the final round.

Impact Conners is known for his ball-striking, but this week he had one of the best weeks of his career on the greens, leading the field in SG: Putting. While the T5 finish is nice, you would have thought Conners would have been closer than 11 shots to the lead had he led the field in SG: Putting given his elite ball-striking. Nevertheless, this was the first start for Conners since a T7 in Napa last September. He's a great fit for Waialae at the Sony Open in Hawaii next week.

T7 finish in Napa Conners closed with a one-over 73 in the final round of the Procore Championship to finish in a share of seventh place.

Impact Conners bookend 73's this week will leave a sour taste in his mouth after going 64-66 in the middle two rounds. A better showing on Thursday and Sunday could have certainly put Conners in striking distance of Patton Kizzire, who won the event by five strokes. Nevertheless, Conners had another good driving week ranking second in SG: Off-the-Tee and was also ninth in putts per GIR. It was a solid showing in his final bit of prep work before the Presidents Cup in his home country of Canada in a couple weeks.
