Picks up best PGA Tour finish Skinns carded an even-par 71 in the final round of the Cognizant Classic to finish in a tie for fourth place. Impact For a man who never even had a top 25 on the PGA Tour, it certainly had to be an interesting experience entering the final round in the final group with a share of the lead. Throw into that all the stop and starts throughout the day on Sunday into Monday. Skinns got off to a predictable slow start with bogeys on the first and third holes, but regrouped with good birdies at 12 and 13. He would need a special finish at that point to catch Austin Eckroat, but a bogey at 15 ended those thoughts. Skinns did notch a birdie on the tough 17th to secure a top-five finish. The Englishman ended the week second in SG: Putting, but just needed a little better iron play to contend for the win.
