Gets back in win column English won the Farmers Insurance Open by one stroke on Saturday after a one-over 73 in the final round. Impact English won his fifth PGA Tour title, but first since 2021. He was the one guy near the top of the leaderboard in Saturday's final round that had plenty of experience in that situation, and it really showed. While English only made one birdie, he made a lot of very smart decisions and executed well from a short-game perspective. English ranked top-four for the tournament in SG: Approach, SG: Putting and scrambling. That's a pretty strong combination on a course like Torrey Pines. English will hope this win can propel him to put together one of his best seasons on Tour in 2025. He will tee it up at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next week.
