Impact Stenson opened the tournament with a bogey-free, four-under 66, and while he went even par on the second day, he entered Championship Sunday in position to earn some points towards the LIV Golf individual season standings. However, Stenson's chances of finishing top-24 were wiped out when he carded three consecutive bogeys from holes eight to 10. Though he finished T20 in the field in driving accuracy (69.05 percent), Stenson ranked near the bottom across all other statistical categories, including T41 in putts per hole (1.67), T43 in GIR (66.67 percent) and T50 in birdies made (nine). Stenson sits 33rd in the standings with 4.66 points heading into Singapore, where he finished 44th in 2024.
