Impact Thomas took the 54-hole lead into Sunday by one stroke over Scottie Scheffler seeking his first worldwide victory since the 2022 PGA Championship. Thomas' game was just not there in the final round, however, and he had to watch Scheffler best him by a whopping eight shots. That combined with the long winless drought surely has to light a fire under him going into 2025. This was his second straight top-three finish after a T2 at the ZOZO Championship a handful of weeks ago.
