Impact Herbert surged into contention in Singapore with a bogey-free, five-under 66 second round to enter Sunday three strokes back of Dustin Johnson and Joaquin Niemann for the clubhouse lead. Herbert stayed near the top of the leaderboard after going one-under through the front nine, but his final round quickly fell apart when he carded five bogeys from holes 11 to 17 before ending with a birdie on the par-4 18th. It was a disappointing finish for Herbert, but the Australian has finished in the top-15 in three of four LIV Golf tournaments this season and sits 10th in the individual standings with 38.40 points. Next up is LIV Golf Miami, and Herbert will be looking for redemption at Trump National Doral after finishing T51 in 2024.
