Closing bogey proves costly Clanton closed with a four-under 66 on Sunday at The RSM Classic to finish in a share of second place. Impact Clanton began the day three shots off the lead and had a bogey-free front-nine, and he moved into a share of the lead after moving to five-under through 16 holes. He seemed to feel the pressure on the closing hole, however, and a six-foot par putt miss cost him a chance at the victory. The amateur had an excellent week with his driving play, ranking second in SG: Off-the-tee. Clanton is in excellent position to attain his card in June 2025 through PGA Tour University Accelerated.
