Impact Clanton saved his best round for last, with his final round highlighted by his eagle on the par-5 11th hole. He ranked near the bottom of the field in driving distance and was middle-of-the-pack in birdies made, but he limited his mistakes to just three bogeys (tied for second best) while finishing T8 in scrambling, T15 in driving accuracy and T24 in GIR. It was an encouraging performance out of Clanton after missing the cut in each of his first four Tour events of the season (including a withdrawal from The American Express in January due to an illness). He is currently not listed in the field for THE PLAYERS Championship next week.
