Solo third at Irish Open Manassero closed with a two-under 69 in the final round to finish in solo third place at the Amgen Irish Open. Impact Manassero started the final round just one back of leader Rory McIlroy. Both players shot the same score on Sunday, but Rasmus Hojgaard leaped past both of them with a six-under 65. Manassero was gunning for his sixth career win on the DP World Tour. This has been a career-changing year for Manassero who was one of the top amateurs we have ever seen and then completely lost his game for several years. The Italian won earlier this season in South Africa and is now inside the top-10 in the Race to Dubai standings. Manassero is in great position to earn a PGA Tour card for 2025 if he can close out the year solidly on the DP World Tour.
