Withdraws from RSM Classic Schmid has withdrawn from the RSM Classic without an injury designation.

Impact Schmid recently finished at -2 in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, clocking in at 61st on the leaderboard. The 26-year old German had a solid season last year, making 22 of 24 cuts and logging three top-ten finishes.

Misses cut in Mexico Schmid posted a two-day total of two-over par at the World Wide Technology Championship to miss the cut by four strokes.

Impact Schmid was unable to stay out of trouble at El Cardonal, which was yielding plenty of low scores, posting back-to-back over-par rounds to miss the weekend. He carded six bogeys and three double bogeys across 36 holes and went just 4-for-11 scrambling. It was a surprising finish for Schmid, who had been hot this fall with three consecutive top-20 finishes entering the event.

Second straight top-five finish Schmid closed with a five-under 66 to finish in a share of third place at the Shriners Children's Open.

Impact After scoring his best finish of 2024 last week in Utah (5th), Schmid was able to better that with a T3 in Las Vegas. Schmid was just even-par through his first 12 holes on Sunday, but finished with a flurry going five-under the last six. Schmid ranked ninth in SG: Off-the-Tee and 14th in SG: Putting for the week at TPC Summerlin. Schmid moves up to 84th in the FedExCup Fall standings and should retain full status in 2025.

Surges with Sunday 62 Schmid jumped into solo fifth place after firing a nine-under 62 in the final round of the Black Desert Championship.

Impact Schmid's 62 tied for the low round of the day, which was highlighted by five birdies in a row to close the front-nine as well as a closing eagle. Despite starting the round a whopping 11 shots off the lead, he was able to climb all the way into the top-5 for his best result of the year. Schmid ranked third for the week in SG: Off-the tee and fifth in putting.

Ties for 16th in Jackson Schmid fired a four-under 68 on Sunday at the Sanderson Farms Championship to finish 17-under and tied for 16th.

Impact Schmid eagled the par-4 15th during Sunday's final round when he holed out from just north of 48 feet, and he ultimately tallied 21 total birdies throughout his week at the Country Club of Jackson where he ranked top-15 among the field in driving distance and putts per GIR. Schmid improved five spots to No. 120 in the FedExCup Fall standings, and he hasn't missed a single cut since July's Genesis Scottish Open. Schmid will be in the field again this week at the Black Desert Championship.

T12 at 3M Open ahead of Olympic debut Schmid carded a three-under 68 on Sunday at the 3M Open to finish 11-under and tied for 12th.

Impact Schmid birdied five of his last 13 holes during Sunday's final round to ultimately post his fifth top-25 result of the 2024 season, gaining momentum ahead of the upcoming Olympic Men's Golf Competition where he'll represent his native Germany. This past week in Minnesota, Schmid ranked top-20 among the field in each of SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach and scrambling on the way to 19 total birdies.

Finishes T69 in San Antonio Schmid carded a two-over 76 in the final round to finish tied for 69th spot in the Valero Texas Open.

Impact Schmid had a horrible outing in the fourth round, losing 43 spots. The 26-year-old ended with four bogeys and one double bogey on Sunday. He finished the competition with 13 bogeys. It was the first time Schmid finished outside the top 50 in any competition this season. He will not take part in the Masters Tournament next week.

Runner-up finish in Spain Schmid shot a one-under 71 in the final round to finish in solo second place at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucia Masters.

Impact Schmid came into the final round with the lead, but just didn't have quite enough to hold off an incredible round of Adrian Meronk, who bested the German by one shot. Schmid played a full season on the PGA Tour this year, but only was able to post three top-25 finishes. He sits 148th in the FedExCup Fall and needs to get inside the Top 125 to earn full playing status in 2024. That being said, this runner-up moves him up to 70th on the DP World Tour and in position to lock up full status on that tour for next year. His choice of tour over these last few events should tell us what his plans are for 2024.

Shoots 64 on Sunday to finish T6 Schmid closed with a strong round of eight-under 64 on Sunday to move into a tie for sixth place at the American Express.

Impact Schmid was a combined 16-under-par in his two rounds at the Stadium Course, which is the most difficult course in the rotation. He gained more strokes than anyone Off-the-Tee in those two rounds. Schmid had a really difficult fall, but hopefully this showing can boost his confidence going forward for the rookie. He will tee it up at Torrey Pines next week.
