Wins WM Phoenix Open in playoff Taylor fired a final round six-under 65 to claim the victory at the WM Phoenix Open on the second playoff hole. Impact Taylor began the final round tied for the lead with Sahith Theegala but was quickly passed following five pars to start the round. Trailing by three with four holes to play, he converted three birdie putts inside 10 feet to force a playoff with Charlie Hoffman. Following birdies by each player on the first extra hole, Taylor drained an 11-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole for the win. Taylor has now won in consecutive years after taking down the RBC Canadian Open in a playoff last June.
