Receives special invite to Masters Hojgaard accepted a special invitation to compete in the 2025 Masters Tournament, Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Fred Ridley announced Wednesday.
Impact The Masters has a long history rewarding international players who otherwise would not get into the field with an invitation if deemed deserving. LIV Star Joaquin Niemann was also given a special invitation on Wednesday. Hojgaard made waves at the Masters last year when he was in contention all week, and even led the tournament in round three, before eventually fading to T16. Hojgaard was ranked outside the top 50 in the OWGR at the end of 2024, and would have had to either win a PGA Tour event before the Masters in April, or make his way back inside the top 50 the week before tournament week. The Dane will no longer have to worry about that and he will get to compete alongside his brother Rasmus Hojgaard, who is ranked inside the top 50.

Finishes 66th in Detroit Hojgaard shot a four-under 75 to finish in the 66th spot in the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Impact Hojgaard registered 14 birdies in the competition which was tied at 60th. He finished with six bogeys which was tied at 18th. It was the third time this season where Hojgaard finished outside the top-60 players in a competition. He will not feature in the upcoming John Deere Classic.

Secures T75 finish in San Antonio Hojgaard carded a five-over 74 in the final round to finish tied for 75th spot in the Valero Texas Open.
Impact Hojgaard ended up losing 11 spots in the final round. The 23-year-old registered three birdies in the fourth round. He also gained 1.01 strokes off-the-tee as well. Despite a disappointing outing in the Valero Texas Open, Hojgaard managed to keep his 56th spot in the FedEx Cup rankings.

Second straight missed cut Hojgaard shot a four-over 76 on Friday at the PLAYERS Championship to miss the cut at the event.
Impact Hojgaard was over par in both rounds combining for a five-over in his two rounds. It was the second straight missed cut for Hojgaard who has been trending steadily downward over his last five events after taking home second place at the Farmers Insurance Open at the end of January. The 23-year-old is not in the field for next week's Valspar Championship.

Teeing it up in Dubai Hojgaard (undisclosed) will play at the DP World Tour Championship this week.
Impact Hojgaard was in the field for the RSM Classic as he awaited to see if he would clinch a PGA Tour card for 2024 on non-member points. After it was confirmed at the end of the Bermuda Championship, Hojgaard elected to finish up the season on the DP World Tour. He put together a strong showing last week at the Nedbank Golf Challenge where he finished solo second to Max Homa. Hojgaard is now up to 70th in the OWGR and will look to continue to move up the final Race to Dubai rankings from 10th.
