Turns back clock in Hong Kong Mickelson carded a six-under 64 in the final round at LIV Golf Hong Kong to finish solo third with a cumulative score of 14-under. Impact Mickelson started the final round three strokes back of the clubhouse lead, and while he had one of the better scores of the day it wasn't enough to catch eventual tournament winner Sergio Garica. Still, it was a vintage performance from Mickelson, who lead the field in Hong Kong in birdies made (21) while finishing in the top-12 in driving accuracy, GIR and putting. Hong Kong was the first time that the 54-year-old lefty has had a podium finish in the LIV Golf league, and it was his best finish since The Masters in 2023 (T2). Mickelson has finishes of T23-2 since missing LIV Golf Riyadh due to a shoulder injury, and he sits 12th in the individual season standings with 24.28 points going into Singapore, where he finished tied for 22nd in 2024.
