Wins Dubai Desert Classic for third time McIlroy won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic by one shot over Patrick Reed after shooting a four-under 68 in the final round.

Impact McIlroy took a three shot lead into the final round after his seven-under 65 in round three, which even included a bogey on the par-5 18th hole. McIlroy did not appear to have his best stuff in the final round, but he was able to make a few clutch shots when it mattered, including holing a 15-footer on the 72nd hole to seal the win. McIlroy has now won three times in his last seven starts worldwide with no finishes outside the top-four in that stretch. He and Jon Rahm are just on a different level right now than everyone else. McIlroy will be making his 2023 PGA Tour debut at the WM Phoenix Open.
