Another disappointing finish in Phoenix Theegala had to settle for fifth place after a two-under 69 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open. Impact It looked like it was going to be Theegala's week after he started on the wrong side of the draw for the weather that impacted this event, but still was able to take the 36-hole lead after rounds of 65-64. Theegala held strong in the third round and shared the lead going into the final round. It wasn't the same type of heartbreak as he faced two years ago at this event on Sunday, but it's another final round he will leave disappointed with as Theegala couldn't keep pace with Nick Taylor and Charley Hoffman with just three birdies and a bogey. He will hope to shake it off and continue to strong iron play at Genesis Invitational next week, an event he finished T6 a year ago in.
