Finishes second in Hong Kong Detry posted a 20-under cumulative score at LIV Golf Hong Kong to finish solo second and three strokes behind winner Jon Rahm.

Impact Detry was part of the feature group with Rahm and Harold Varner after posting a 64-63-66 scorecard through the first three rounds of the tournament. Detry couldn't run his score up on Championship Sunday, going even-par on the front nine before finishing with three birdies over the final six holes to jump past 4Aces teammate Thomas Pieters for second. Per LIV Golf, Detry led the field in SG: Putting (7.66) and finished in the top-5 in both birdies made and GIR. In his debut LIV Golf season, the 33-year-old German has two top-10 finishes through the first three tournaments of the year and will look to carry that momentum into LIV Golf Singapore next week.

Set to join LIV Golf Detry has agreed to join LIV Golf for the 2026 season, Tom Kershaw of The Times reports.

Impact LIV Golf struck out on a number of bigger names throughout the winter, so Detry will be their biggest signing of the offseason. Last year he became the first player from Belgium to win on the PGA Tour after a dominant seven-shot victory at the WM Phoenix Open. Detry is believed to join the 4Aces, which is captained by Dustin Johnson. The 4Aces have another Belgian in Thomas Pieters already on their roster. Detry is not currently qualified for any of the major championships in 2026.
