Starts year strong Detry recorded a two-under 71 in the final round of The Sentry to finish in a share of fifth place.

Impact Detry was playing in the final threesome Sunday, but he got off to a slow start with a double bogey on par-3 second hole to fall seven shots off the pace and out of contention. Nevertheless, he had an excellent week with his driving play, where he ranked third in SG: Off-the-tee. It's a positive sign for Detry following a poor finish to 2024, with his most recent top-5 previously coming at the PGA Championship last May.

T2 finish in Houston Detry closed with a two-under 68 but ended up one stroke shy of forcing a playoff with Stephan Jaeger at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

Impact Detry's only birdies on Sunday came on the three par-5s against one bogey on 14. He was in the mix all day, but his bid to tie what ended up being the number at 12-under-par came up just shy on 18. Detry's short game was fantastic this week as he led the field in scrambling. He has had a couple close calls, but has never won on the PGA Tour. This was his fourth top-20 of the season. He was slated to tee it up in the Valero Texas Open, but elected to withdraw after the close bid for his first win.

Impact Detry struggled down the stretch Sunday opening his round with three birdies through 10 holes before ending the round with two more birdies, but also three bogeys and a double bogey to limp to the finish. The 31-year-old was middle of the pack with his putter and in his approach play, but ranked sixth in SG: Off-the-tee at the event. Detry is in the field for this week's Houston Open.

Six-putt en route to MC Detry missed the cut by a wide margin at the Cognizant Classic after shooting rounds of 73-80.

Impact Detry made the highlight reels for the wrong reasons as he had a six-putt on the par 4 6th hole, carding a quadruple-bogey eight and a nine-over 80 for the round. Detry had been listed in the field when the original entry list was published for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he was knocked out of the Next 10 with this poor showing. Detry will miss this Signature Event but hope to come back strong at The Players Championship the following week.
