Misses cut at API Hovland recorded a two-day score of five-over-par to miss the cut at this past week's Arnold Palmer Invitational by one shot.
Impact Hovland lost over six strokes putting throughout his 36 holes at Bay Hill, though he gained 4.3 strokes on approach en route to seven birdies despite 1.86 putts per GIR. He's now missed back-to-back cuts dating to The Genesis Invitational, while his short game remains a major concern. Nonetheless, Hovland will tee it up again this week at THE PLAYERS Championship where he placed T62-T3-T9 the last three years.

Impact Hovland managed to get through all four rounds at Kapalua despite a broken pinky toe, racking up 19 total birdies and two eagles across 72 holes. He ranked 12th among the field in driving distance, but Hovland finished just T45 in GIR percentage and 48th in SG: Around-the-Green. He's not teeing it up at the Sony Open in Hawaii this week, so Hovland's next start may come at the DP World Tour's Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
