Impact Civale wasn't as dominant as he was during his first two starts, a span in which he struck out 12 across 14.2 innings, but he still did enough in this one, outpitching Lance Lynn. It's worth noting that his sparkling 2.18 ERA has benefited from plenty of luck early on, as Civale has surrendered an unsustainable .146 BABIP alongside an 83.3 percent strand rate. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old right-hander will try to keep the good times rolling in his next start, scheduled for next week at home against these same White Sox.
