Impact Engel reached on a force out and stole second base in the second. It was his 11th stolen base in 13 attempts this season. Sunday was just his third start in the last 18 contests. Since the All-Star break, the 30-year-old is 3-for-28 with 13 strikeouts. For the season his slash line has dropped to .235/.286/.337 and he appears to have turned into nothing more than a late-inning defensive replacement for the White Sox.
