Impact The outfielder walked and singled across his first four plate appearances, and he finished the day with an RBI single and a steal, his 10th of the season, in the bottom of the ninth inning. It's the third consecutive multi-hit game for Garcia, who went 7-for-11 with two walks, a double, two RBI and three runs during the three-game set in New York. He struggled at the plate in July with a .504 OPS, but he's hitting .357 through 32 plate appearances in August.

Impact Garcia had a run-producing, two-out single in the first then hit the shortest home run ever measured at Rogers Center since Statcast began tracking distance. Garcia sent an opposite field fly ball that clanged off the base of the foul pole in right field, 328 feet away. It's a sign that the outfielder's cool bat may be coming to life. Garcia entered the contest with a .437 OPS over the last 16 games and just one home run over the last 19.
