Set to join major-league roster Chaparro is expected to be called up from Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports. Impact Chaparro was dealt to the Nationals at the trade deadline in a deal that sent relief pitcher Dylan Floro to the Diamondbacks. Chaparro has yet to make his major-league debut and he's spent eight years in the minors. This season the 25-year-old has combined to hit .328 with 23 home runs, 85 RBI, 76 runs and three stolen bases over 105 games with Triple-A Reno and Triple-A Rochester. With Jose Tena (thumb) dealing with a fingernail issue, it's possible that Chaparro sees his first opportunity at third base with the big-league club.
