Back in big leagues Perdomo was recalled from Triple-A Nashville prior to Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

Impact With Devin Williams landing on the 10-day injured list with right elbow discomfort, a spot opened up on the 26-man roster for Perdomo to rejoin the Brewers' bullpen. Perdomo spent over a month and a half in the majors in the early portion of the season, but was placed on the injured list in late May with a back strain, and was later optioned to Triple-A when he was activated. The left-hander will resume his big-league campaign with a 7.11 ERA and 19:12 K:BB.

Reinstated, sent down Perdomo (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.

Impact Perdomo had been on the injured list since May 30 due to a lower back strain, but he began a rehab assignment June 20. The southpaw made five appearances with the Triple-A club and allowed no hits and a walk while striking out 10 in five scoreless innings. He'll remain in the minors but could return to the Brewers as a low-leverage reliever at some point.

Impact Perdomo was sharp in his first appearance at any level since May 24, but he wasn't as overpowering as his box-score line would indicate. He didn't induce a single swing and miss among his 18 pitches, as all 11 of the strikes he threw were either called strikes or fouled off. The Brewers may want to see Perdomo make another appearance or two in the minors before reinstating him from the 10-day injured list.

Impact The lefty reliever has been sidelined since May 30 with a strained back, but he appears close to being activated, assuming the rehab goes smoothly. Perdomo struggled before the injury, posting a 7.11 ERA in 12.2 innings with the Brewers. He allowed three homers and walked 12 batters, so he'll certainly need to clean up those numbers if he's to stay with the big-league club for the rest of the season.
