Impact Castro tossed 28 pitches in his one-inning relief appearance Tuesday against the Yankees and was unlikely to be available for the next day or two, so Toronto opted to swap him out of the bullpen for Jacob Barnes, whose contract was selected from Triple-A. Unless he's called up from Buffalo as a replacement for an injured player later this week, Castro will conclude the regular season with a 4.74 ERA and 1.26 WHIP across 25 appearances with the big club.
