Impact Rendon's arrival at camp was slightly delayed, but as has been previously reported, it shouldn't have much of an impact on his status for Opening Day. The 31-year-old is in pursuit of a bounce-back season after appearing in only 58 games during the 2021 campaign due to a hamstring injury, struggling to a .240 average with six homers and 34 RBI over that stretch.

Impact Rendon battled multiple injuries last season, hitting a modest .240/.329/.382 in 58 games before eventually undergoing hip surgery in August. Assuming he is indeed 100 percent for the start of next season, he'll have plenty of fantasy upside, as he produced a wRC+ of 140 or better in each season from 2017 to 2020. That said, he'll also be heading into his age-32 season and hasn't reached 150 games in a season since 2016, so he'll come with very real health concerns even if his offseason recovery goes well.
