ImpactIvey made his major-league debut in late May but has been shut down with a nerve issue in his elbow ever since that appearance. He's unlikely to be fully built up by the end of the season, but it's certainly a positive that he's able to pitch in some capacity.

ImpactBielak would likely have been unavailable for a few days after he was called upon to throw 2.2 innings in a spot start Friday. The Astros elected to swap him out for a fresh arm, calling up Peter Solomon to take his place.

ImpactSolomon has thrown three scoreless innings at the major-league level this season, the last of which came back in early July. He owns a 4.70 ERA in 97.2 innings for Triple-A Sugar Land. Brandon Bielak was optioned to clear space for Solomon on the roster.

Luis Frías - Headed to ArizonaFrias was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
ImpactFrias was promoted from Double-A Amarillo to Triple-A Reno on Aug. 16. Since, he's posted a 5.82 ERA and 1.75 WHIP while walking 16 hitters across 21.1 frames and five starts with Reno. While it's unclear when Frias will first take a major-league mound, it's likely that he'll draw a start in the coming days.
