Fernando Tatis Jr. - Reaches thrice in Triple-A gameTatis (suspension) went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base, a run and an RBI in an appearance for Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.
ImpactTatis played in the first game of his rehab assignment with El Paso, which was also the first Triple-A appearance of his career. The star shortstop didn't appear to have any rust, as he singled home a run in the sixth inning after walking in two previous trips to the plate. Tatis also swiped a bag in the contest, serving as a reminder of the stolen-base potential he'll bring to fantasy squads once eligible to return to the Padres from his suspension April 20.

Trent Grisham - Swats second long ballGrisham went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Monday.
ImpactWith the Padres down three runs in the ninth inning, Grisham narrowed the deficit with his two-out solo shot to right field, though San Diego didn't put any more runs on the board. The outfielder has started the season well, reaching base in all six of the Padres' games thus far. After struggling to a .184/.284/.341 slash line last season, Grisham has looked better to begin 2023, slashing .238/.333/.619 with two homers, two doubles, two RBI and four runs through 24 plate appearances.

Xander Bogaerts - Remains red hotBogaerts went 2-for-4 with a home run, two total runs and two total RBI in Monday's loss to Arizona.
ImpactBogaerts belted a two-run shot in the fifth inning, marking the third time in his past four games that he has gone deep. The shortstop has enjoyed a blazing beginning to his Padres career, notching at least one hit in each of his first six games and slashing .409/.440/.955 with three homers, seven RBI and five runs over that span. Bogaerts hit a modest 15 homers in 150 games with Boston last season, but he has hit as many as 33 long balls in an MLB campaign (in 2019 with the Red Sox).
