William Woods - Sent down Monday Woods was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Impact Woods will return to Triple-A after he was called up Friday, failing to appear in a game before his return to the minors. The 23-year-old will remain a candidate to get called up down the stretch is Atlanta needs a bullpen arm. Bryce Elder was recalled from Gwinnett on Monday to replace Woods on the active roster.
