Reynaldo López - Won't start Sat., still day-to-dayLopez (forearm) will not start Saturday versus the Marlins but is still considered day-to-day, Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game reports.
ImpactLopez's next turn would have been Saturday after he exited his last outing Sunday versus the Mets with right forearm tightness. He was cleared of any structural damage and Atlanta maintains hope that he can avoid the 15-day injured list, but it's uncertain when he might be able to take the ball again.
AUGUST 1ROTOWIRE
Max Fried - Candidate to start SundayFried (forearm) could rejoin the Atlanta rotation Sunday against the Marlins, Grant McAuley of 92.9 The Game reports.
ImpactFried resumed throwing last weekend and threw a bullpen session without issue Wednesday. Assuming he bounces back without any concerns, it sounds like he will skip a rehab start and rejoin the Atlanta rotation this weekend. Fried has missed the last two weeks of action with left forearm neuritis.

Orlando Arcia - Batting fifth ThursdayArcia will start at shortstop and bat fifth in Thursday's game versus the Marlins.
ImpactAtlanta has been forced to juggle their lineup often this season due to injury, but even with that, this is the highest Arcia has batted since May 23. He was batting ninth at the beginning of his current 11-game hit streak, a streak that's seen him sock a couple home runs while posting a .955 OPS.

Jacob Misiorowski - Promoted to Triple-AMisiorowski was promoted to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, according to MLB Pipeline.
ImpactMisiorowski was tagged for six earned runs in his penultimate Double-A start, but he still posted a 2.97 ERA and 0.99 WHIP over his last seven starts at the level, and the Brewers decided to move him one step away from the big leagues. Concerns remain about Misiorowski's control, but not about his stuff, and there is a chance he could be called up to the majors before the campaign comes to a close.

Brock Wilken - Gets going in JulyWilken went 23-for-90 (.256) with six home runs, four doubles, 20 RBI and a 17:17 BB:K over 23 games with Double-A Biloxi in the month of July.
ImpactIt took Wilken some time to get into a groove after recovering from facial injuries he sustained when he was struck by a pitch in April, but he did just that in July, as he finished the month with a .374 OBP and .500 SLG -- both easily season bests. Wilken is 22 years old and is one of Milwaukee's top prospects, so if he continues to produce he could earn himself a promotion to the Triple-A level before the year ends.
