ImpactMazeika hit .214 in 14 at-bats with the Mets before being optioned May 31, most notably putting the ball in play for two walk-off winners. He was recalled in May to be the backup catcher while Tomas Nido was injured, so now he'll presumably be the third catcher and simply an extra bat available off the bench.

ImpactStock was designated for assignment by the Cubs after his five-run, six-walk start June 16 against his new team. Now a few years removed from his only solid MLB season in 2018, Stock may only be called up by the Mets if injuries to the big-league pitching staff merit such a move.
