Returns to lineupFrazier (back) will bat cleanup and play first base Thursday against Baltimore.
ImpactFrazier had been out of the lineup since getting scratched Sunday with lower-back tightness. He's ready to play again one week before the regular season begins and will look to complete his case for a roster spot.

Turning heads in campHolmes threw a scoreless inning against Atlanta on Wednesday, allowing no hits or walks while striking out one batter.
ImpactHolmes, who was taken off the 40-man roster over the winter, has strung together eight scoreless spring outings covering 7.2 innings. The nearly 28-year-old has struggled in the majors, as he owns a 5.91 ERA and 78:59 K:BB in 77.2 innings, but he's finally healthy. Fantasy managers need not pick up Holmes right now, but he looks like a completely different pitcher so far in 2021 and will likely get a chance in the majors at some point this summer.

Works five innings WednesdayBrubaker gave up three earned runs on three hits and one walk in five innings Wednesday, striking out six Atlanta batters, DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.
ImpactThe Pirates will almost surely rely on Brubaker as part of their rotation with Steven Brault (arm) sidelined for at least two months. In 2020, the righty seemed destined for bullpen work with only two effective pitches -- a fastball and a slider -- but he's throwing a curveball and changeup more than he has in the past, and he whiffed batters with three different pitches Wednesday. Brubaker struck out 48 batters in 47.1 innings last season and offers the potential to serve as a streaming option in fantasy this year.
