Kyle Wright - Still chance for Cardinals seriesWright said his shoulder "felt great" during his live batting practice session Friday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
ImpactLast season's only 20-game winner, Wright received a cortisone injection in his shoulder in January and is behind schedule. However, he still thinks he has a chance to be ready for the team's second series of the regular season in St. Louis (April 3-5). Wright might throw 2-3 innings against minor leaguers next week in a final tuneup before he pitches in spring games.

Victor Vodnik - Heads back to minors campVodnik was reassigned to minor-league camp Friday by Atlanta.
ImpactVodnik's removal brings the Atlanta camp roster down to 52 total players. The 23-year-old is one of the best relief prospects in the team's system, and he posted a 2.34 ERA over 31 appearances with Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett in 2022. There's a very good chance he makes his big-league debut in 2023.
