Adam Frazier - Goes deep Saturday Frazier went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Royals.

Impact Frazier's eighth-inning blast put the finishing touches on the Orioles' win. The second baseman has gone just 8-for-38 (.211) over his last nine games, but five of those hits have gone for extra bases. He'd been seeing some time at leadoff versus right-handed pitchers, but Gunnar Henderson was in that spot Saturday and will be again Sunday. It's unclear if that switch is temporary or something that could stick while Cedric Mullins (groin) is on the injured list. Frazier is slashing .236/.300/.404 with seven homers, 28 RBI, 31 runs scored and six stolen bases over 62 contests.

Gunnar Henderson - Homers in first game at leadoff Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Royals.

Impact Henderson has gotten himself on track again in June, going 8-for-19 (.421) over his last six games. Saturday marked his first game at leadoff this season, and he could continue to be an option there as long as Cedric Mullins (groin) remains sidelined. For the season, Henderson is batting just .225 with a .771 OPS, eight home runs, four stolen bases, 18 RBI, 32 runs scored, seven doubles and two triples over 56 contests. Adam Frazier, who also homered Saturday, is likely Henderson's biggest competition for the leadoff spot versus right-handed pitchers. Henderson will be atop the order again for Sunday's series finale.

Impact Mateo has struggled in June to the tune of a .217/.217/.261 slash over eight games, and he went just 1-for-7 over the first two games of the series versus the Royals. Gunnar Henderson is leading off and playing shortstop while Ramon Urias moves to third base while Mateo sits.

Impact Mountcastle will miss at least one more game -- or at least not start, as he could be available off the bench -- while dealing with an illness that has kept him out of the lineup over the weekend. Josh Lester is starting at first base and hitting eighth while Mountcastle recovers.

Aside from a periodic day off, the 28-year-old is locked into the middle of Baltimore's lineup and should get plenty of run-scoring opportunities hitting behind Gunnar Henderson and Adley Rutschman.

Cole Irvin - Solid in return to MLB Irvin (1-2) earned the win Saturday, allowing one run on six hits across 5.1 innings in a 6-1 victory over the Royals. He struck out five and didn't issue a walk.

Impact Irvin posted an ugly 10.66 ERA across three starts (12.2 innings) before being optioned to Triple-A in mid-April. He was recalled briefly in mid-May but made just once bullpen appearance before being sent down again. The left-hander was performing well in the minors, so he got another chance at the big-league level Saturday and looked sharp, albeit versus the Royals' lackluster offense. Given the strong outing, Irvin figures to get another turn in the Orioles' rotation and is slated pitch again during the opener of a three-game weekend set at Wrigley Field.

Impact Mullins hit the injured list at the end of May with a Grade 2 right groin strain. He was shut down for over a week, so it will take some time (and potentially a rehab assignment) to build him back up, but it's certainly a positive to see him trending in the right direction.
