Once Norfolk is able to open up an extra roster spot, Haskin will presumably move back to the Triple-A affiliate to handle a near-everyday role in the outfield alongside the newly activated Colton Cowser (quadriceps).

Impact Kjerstad missed time with a heart condition after being drafted by Baltimore with the No. 2 overall pick in 2020, but he's progressed through the Orioles' minor-league system quickly since debuting in 2022. Jorge Mateo - Notches 16th steal Mateo went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Giants.

Impact Mateo picked up his first multi-hit effort since April 27 in this contest. The steal was also his first in seven games, as he's had few opportunities to run after hitting just .128 in May. A strong start to the season has propped up his slash line at .234/.276/.389 for the year. He's at 16 steals, six home runs, 24 RBI and 31 runs scored, and with high-end speed, he should maintain some fantasy interest as long as he's the Orioles' starting shortstop.

Austin Hays - Swipes bag Sunday Hays went 1-for-5 with one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Giants.

Impact Hays has faltered a bit of late, going 2-for-19 (.105) over his last five games. The outfielder was able to pick up his second stolen base of the campaign Sunday. He's never swiped more than four bags in a season, so it's unlikely he becomes a sudden speed threat. Hays has been one of the Orioles' top hitters this season, slashing .301/.341/.487 with six home runs, 24 RBI, 29 runs scored, 14 doubles and two triples over 53 contests. It's expected Hays and Aaron Hicks will combine to cover the absence of Cedric Mullins (groin) in center field, though it's been mostly Hicks there, as Hays has played in left in three of his last four games.

Impact Voth made his last appearance versus Cleveland in a bulk relief role, but Baltimore is skipping his turn in the rotation thanks to days off last Thursday and this Monday. This was his first scoreless outing in his last four appearances. Voth has been more effective as a reliever, and he may still follow an opener in his next game, which is tentatively scheduled to come over the weekend at home versus the Royals. As such, Sunday's appearance seems to be just to keep him on schedule. He has a 4.55 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB through 29.2 innings.

Tyler Wells - Strikes out nine in win Wells (4-2) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out nine over 5.1 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Giants.

Impact Wells got through five scoreless innings while allowing just four baserunners, but he faded in the sixth. Blake Sabol ended Wells' outing with a two-run home run, but the Orioles' lead was never in danger. The nine strikeouts were a season high for Wells, who picked up his first win in four starts. The right-hander has a 3.29 ERA with an excellent 0.85 WHIP and solid 70:14 K:BB through 12 outings (11 starts) spanning 68.1 innings. Baltimore is using its off day Monday to reset the rotation by skipping the No. 5 spot, so Wells should pitch on normal rest versus the Royals in his next start.
