Impact Following the trade that sent Luis Torrens to the Orioles, it appears more possible for McCann and Adley Rutschman to co-exist in the lineup between catcher and designated hitter. McCann has been in the lineup in four of the last six games, twice as the DH and twice as the catcher. He's slashing .225/.262/.400 with two home runs, one steal, five RBI, six runs scored and a double over 42 plate appearances this season.

Impact O'Hearn will head back to Triple-A after he spent a little over three weeks with the Orioles, going 5-for-19 with a double, six RBI and a run scored while appearing in nine games. With Luis Torrens being acquired from the Cubs on Wednesday, O'Hearn appears to be the odd-man out on the big-league roster.

Adam Frazier - Scores four times Thursday Frazier went 2-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and four runs scored in Thursday's 13-10 win over the Royals.

Impact Frazier has hit safely in six of his last seven games, going 7-for-19 (.368). Thursday was his first multi-hit effort in that span. The second baseman is up to a .241/.333/.379 slash line with three home runs, 10 RBI, five steals, 20 runs scored and three doubles through 99 plate appearances.

Yennier Cano - Picks up win Thursday Cano (1-0) earned the win Thursday over the Royals, allowing one hit and striking out three over two innings.

Impact Cano allowed an inherited runner to score in the seventh inning, but the Orioles rallied ahead for good in the eighth. The right-hander has quickly ascended to a setup role, as he's yet to be charged with a run in 14 innings while allowing just two hits and a hit batsman. He's also struck out 16 while racking up two saves and five holds. Cano appears to be the top option for ancillary saves when Felix Bautista is unavailable, at least until Mychal Givens (knee) and Dillon Tate (forearm) return.

Gunnar Henderson - Belts third homer Henderson went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored against the Royals in a 13-10 win Thursday.

Impact Henderson gave Baltimore what looked to be an unsurmountable 8-1 lead in the third inning with a 425-foot, two-run blast to right field. However, Kansas City eventually took the lead in the seventh frame, and Henderson was replaced by a pinch hitter when his turn came up in the eighth. Despite the late-game substitution, this was a positive performance for Henderson, as he had gone just 1-for-13 over his previous five games entering Thursday.

Anthony Santander - Goes deep Thursday Santander went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 13-10 victory versus Kansas City on Thursday.

Impact Santander got the Orioles off to a fast start in the first inning, belting a 406-foot, two-run shot to right-center field. He added a single in the ninth frame, giving him his fourth multi-hit performance over his past five games. During the hot streak, Santander is batting .381 (8-for-21).

Impact Urias didn't start the contest, but he was called upon to pinch hit for Gunnar Henderson in the eighth inning. The move paid dividends, as Urias knocked in a pair of go-ahead runs with a single and subsequently stole both second and third base. For good measure, Urias produced again in the ninth, knocking a two-run double to cap a brief but big performance. Though Urias has just one homer this season, he's knocked in 15 runs, fifth-most on the team.

Impact Rodriguez entered Thursday having pitched a combined 10 scoreless innings over his previous two appearances, but he couldn't maintain that momentum against the Royals. The right-hander served up three homers and five runs between the third and fourth frames, departing with two outs in the fourth inning having thrown 77 pitches. The eight hits and six total runs he allowed were both season highs, while the three punchouts were a season low. Rodriguez's ERA jumped from 4.07 to 5.46 as a result of the poor outing.
